MARKISM

Hope you guys are doing well. The past couple of months has definitely been one of the busiest I’ve had so far this year. My life has been a series of projects, one after the other, alongside a full time job, all while trying to keep my blog relevant and updated. Naks! Haha. I'm currently arranging our Cebu trip for next week. I am still thinking which hotel to book. I'm kinda excited with this trip with my 'bestfriend' wooohooo

Styled this classic Denim on Denim look. It can be tricky to wear double denim sometimes but here is my take on that. I love wearing my new Terno I got from Uniqlo.

What I'm wearing: Marks & Spencer white sweater tee, Massimo Dutti printed pants, Iconic socks, Mango sneakers, Aldo Watch

Ever since rubber soled white sneakers stepped onto the tennis courts of country clubs-the white shoe has been synonymous with summer. This season, think more Adidas, Vans, etc, with all white sneakers-a shoe you can wear with everything from weekday suits to weekend shorts and rolled up chinos. I'm sharing you now my new sneakers I got my Mango man. Fell in love when I first saw them. I super love the letter M detail on the shoes.

You are probably thinking what is this all about, but definitely it's not what you think. It's not about the Off The Grid restaurant in Mckinley Hill, but as a 'background' on my new outfit of the day. Let me share now my new shirt I got from SM Youth. This shirt is very light-free in a jersey fabric, so no sweat inside. But I didn't buy the shirt because of that, I bought it because of its print. I really love it!

What I'm Wearing: Hat (Cotton On), Shirt (SM youth), Jeans (Mango), Kicks (Addidas), Bag (Oxygen), Watch (Casio)

You would've probably seen in my past blog post that I usually wear black chinos but this time I preferred to wear a pair of black jeans. I just like to mix things up and keep on trying out new styles that would suit myself. Very manly outfit on a Friday. Whew, I only have 2 remaining days in Factset. Waaaah!!

I just want to share with you my new bag from Bric's. Bric's is a 60 year old internationally acclaimed luggage brand with boutiques here in the Philippines like in SM Aura. As you noticed this Bric's X bag is similar with Longchamp Le pliage. Bric's bag is however, more serviceable and casual. I like it because it allows you to convert the hand bag to a longer strap. It is also very useful for travel and perfect match on every outfit.

Well for this outfit, well its simple, this is me being lazy on a Friday. A black top, pants, shoes, plus a hat totally made me look like a witchy witchy. haha. I think this a perfect match for my new bag.

What I'm wearing: hat (Market Market), sweater (Oxygen), pants (Mango), shoes (River Island), watch (Casio), tote bag (Bric's)

I just want to share my new acid wash jacket from Sm Youth. It's no secret, I love to shop. Many times I just window shop, and I often don't always go through with my purchases, and then sometimes I buy things, only to feel happy during stressful days. My motto is to buy the best you can afford, and yes, this jacket is on sale. I got it half of the original price. Great!

Let's talk about this acid wash jacket. Acid wash needs no introduction, it's a denim that is tone washed in a particular way to create a mottled effect. The marbled effect makes the fabric bolder on dark denim, and more subtle on faded denim. Acid wash denim has been back for a couple of years, but not so "in" at all. Most of the denim washes are black, gray, and blue. You'll find it on jeans, skinnies, and jackets like what I have on here.

I like acid wash jackets best when they are worn with statement tees, skinnies, and footwear. As much as I love to wear neon or bright colors, there is something about it that is screaming to be paired with neutrals.

What I'm wearing: Jacket (Sm Youth), Tee (Fudge Rock), Pants (Mango), Bag (Oxygen), Shoes (Cotton On), Watch (Casio), Sunglasses (SM Accessories)

There's no denying that the bomber is back. It is the perfect combination of edgy and sophistication  and can can easily find a home in anyone's closet. Bomber jackets is always meant to appear on the runway during this season. While there were plenty of bomber jackets on the runway, the standouts opted for with leather details like what I'm wearing from Chase clothing.

What I'm wearing: Bomber Jacket (Chase), Top (Forever 21), Watch (Casio), Pants (Mango), Givenchy inspired bag (Hongkong), Sneakers (Cotton On)
