Coron Day 2 x Coron Island Tour A

By Marky - 10:42 PM

Coron is currently my most favorite Philippine destination to date. It was actually our first time and the weather was in our favour. I was so happy that our whole stay was blessed with clear blue skies which helped bring out the natural beauty of Coron. Coron, Palawan is home to a number of unique and breathtaking sights. Below are the beautiful photos of our Coron Tour A we availed from Klook.
Breakfast at Darayonan Lodge.
After breakfast, we were picked up by trike at 9am to Lualhati park- the meeting point.
We were so ready for the Island tour. After the briefing of the tour guides, we left at 9:30 am and went straight to our first destination, Kayangan Lake.
I can sense everyone’s excitement, on our way to Kayangan Lake. Some even said that they traveled all the way to Coron from California, just to catch sight of Kayangan Lake.
Our first stop was Kayangan Lake. Known as one of the clearest lakes in all of Asia this gem and the island that holds it is one of the most stunning places on the planet. You will walk across a wooden board and hike up some stairs before you come to the best viewing spot of Kangayan Lake. The main viewpoint most people are familiar with is not actually of the lake, but the bay on the other side of Coron Island.
Upon our arrival, we wasted no time, and hit the paved pathway to a beautiful lookout in Kayangan Lake.
The hike up wasn’t really as difficult as most people think. But of course for my parents, who’s not much of a hiker, did have problems climbing the concrete stairs. But, make no mistake about it – the hike can be tiring, if you’re not used to trekking and exercising.
I had my jaw on the floor when I saw the rings of different shades of blue water surrounding the rock cliffs. The sight is indeed picture perfect. Sobra! Once you are done taking a thousand of photos, you can walk down to the other side of the viewing platform and take a dip in the cool lake.
Nag-pictorial talaga sila dito. Uy, Mahaba pa ang pila.
The blue waters was so refreshing.
After our 2 hours stay at Kayangan Lake, we went to Coral Garden and tried snorkelling. I was really afraid that time because the last time I tried snorkelling was in Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan in 2013.
Check out how deep it was. Scary! Below are the photos I took using my GoPro.
Ultimately, we arrived at the third destination of Coron island hopping tour – Banol Beach, where we ate our lunch, and enjoyed a swim.
The food was great and enough for all us.
Once lunchtime was over, we went back to our boat, and made our last event of our day tour – CYC beach. Our tour ended at 3PM.
We were satisfied on this tour. The food was great and enough for all us. Our tour guide was knowledgable on the places that we’ve visit & they can also communicate well in english for our foreign co-guest. The only thing here is that sometimes the itinerary changes depending on your captain, we’ve book tour A & tour B and we’ve taken our lunch at Banol Beach each day, while our expectation on this tour B itinerary that our lunch is at Atwayan Beach. Overall was good anyway. Thanks for checking!
