Before sharing our Antipolo quick
getaway. Let me share you first my perfect outfit for that trip. Wearing my new
pants I got from Pull & Bear, very perfect for my M&S shirt and Adidas
sneakers. It is very comfy and light. This is my first also to use my new
clutch from Pull & Bear.

Sharing you now our quick Antipolo trip last October 30 with the whole family. There are a lot of beautiful places in Antipolo that you can visit like Hinulugang Taktak, Cloud 9 view, Pinto Museum, etc. Since it's a Sunday, we went straight to Antipolo Cathedral, it's been ages since the last time I went to this beautiful cathedral. Check photos below.
Antipolo’s known for two things: Suman and Kasuy. If
you’ve never had one before, Suman is basically sticky rice wrapped but in
Antipolo you can match it with Coco jam. Yummy! The Cashew Nut is well-loved
around the world for its clean, delicious milky flavor. This is my favorite! Sobra. You can buy them in droves here
in Antipolo, and around the Church you can have a nice snack-sized bag for 70
pesos and 1 big pack for 500 pesos. They come in four main flavors: plain, roasted,
sweetened, and Adobo spicy. We got the original and the adobo spicy.
After the mass, we went straight to Bosay resort near the
cathedral to celebrate the birthday of my niece-Kathleen. It was our first time
here and luckily there are just few people in the resort. The entrance is 170
pesos only. I think this a perfect resort for quick getaways. Belated happy birthday Kath.
Getting to Antipolo is quite easy.
If you have a private car, you can either go through Sumulong Highway (from
Makati City, head to Marcos Highway) or to Ortigas Extension (pass by
Tiendesitas and Libis). If you plan to take public transport, ride the FX or a
jeepney located in these terminals: Araneta Center Cubao, Valero Street behind
RCBC Plaza in Makati, and in Crossings Department Store in Shangri-la Plaza at
Shaw Boulevard. You can also take the LRT 2 and get off at Santolan Station. From
there you can either take the jeepney ($.50) or the FX ($1) that will take you
to Antipolo City. Once in Antipolo City, there are many jeepneys that can take
you from one tourist destination to another.
